Where do we deliver to and how much does it cost?
We deliver throughout the South East on our own fleet of vehicles. Please see delivery map (right) which highlights the cost of each delivery postcode area that we service on our own vehicles. (Note that these are flat rate costs and are not affected by the quantity in which you are ordering).
We can also supply orders to destinations outside the above areas but they would need to be delivered via external haulage which is more expensive and we have less control over how/when it arrives with you. Please call for prices for deliveries outside the area highlighted on the map.
How long does delivery take?
We operate on a 5-7 working day lead time for deliveries although we can often improve on this if need be. At the time you place an order we process it and send you an order confirmation. From here your order will get passed on to our transport department who will look to schedule a delivery slot for you. We will then call you usually 2-3 days before delivery to confirm your delivery date, if the selected date is not convenient we will re-arrange with you. Note that we will never turn up unannounced and if we can’t get hold of you then we will not book a delivery date.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Our vehicles are on the road between 7am and 3pm Monday to Friday. We do not offer a timed service due to travel issues beyond our control. Most deliveries will take place between 8am, and 2pm and we ask that somebody is at the address between those hours and ready to accept delivery. Should we be looking to deliver outside these hours (ie early morning) we will give advanced notification to ensure it is ok. On request we can get the driver to call you with 1 hour notice.
How will my order be unloaded?
We do run a vehicle with crane offload but this is usually reserved for heavy loads on other materials that we supply. Material will be stacked on the vehicle in such a way that it can be offloaded with a forklift or similar if there is one available on site. Most orders will be delivered on a flatbed vehicle and will require offloading by hand. For this we ask that there is at least one (ideally 2) able bodies people on site on the day of delivery in which to assist our driver unloading. Note that deliveries take place curb side only as our drivers work to restricted working hours and will not have time to wait whilst material is moved to the rear of properties.
Can I collect my order?
Yes, you are welcome to collect your order from our depot in East Grinstead. All we ask is that you phone through the order prior to collecting and give us a couple of hours to pick and pack your order which will avoid any delays for yourself on arrival. Can you send small items out via courier?
Yes, accessory fixings can be sent via parcel couriers on a next working day service if ordered by 12 midday. For these orders please phone them through to us so that we can apply the correct courier delivery charge of £15 for UK Mainland (if you attempt to purchase fixing only orders online it will calculate the delivery cost as per the above map rather on our own transport rather than via courier).
